Caltrans I-15 "Managed Lanes" Closure Notice

There are no closures scheduled from Friday evening ( 07/25 ) to Sunday morning ( 07/27 ).

Please note that the Express Lanes will be closed to traffic this weekend starting this Evening Friday ( 07/25 ) at 7 PM to Monday ( 07/28 ) at 4 AM.

The SB I-15 On and Off ramps at W Bernardo Dr / Pomerado Rd will continue to be closed for five more days and reopen at 5:00 AM on Wednesday, July 30.

The following closures will be in effect from Sunday evening ( 07/27 ) through Monday morning ( 07/28 ).  These closures are expected to be placed beginning at 9 p.m. and picked up by 5 a.m. or earlier Monday.

Surface Streets:

None

Ramps:

1.        I-15 SB Off ramp to Poway Rd / Rancho Penasquitos Blvd* -- Earthwork
2.        I-15 SB Off ramp to Mercy Rd / Scripps Poway Pkwy*-- Road work

*Consecutive ramps will not be closed concurrently

Freeway Lanes:

1.    I-15 NB Partial lanes from SR 52 to Centre City Pkwy -- Bridge work, Retaining wall work and Road work
2.    I-15 SB Partial lanes from Ted Williams Pkwy / SR 56 to Mira Mesa Blvd --  Road work
3.    SR 163 SB Partial lanes from I-15/SR 163 split to Kearny Villa Rd-- Road work

Full Freeway Closures (Detours will be posted):

Bike Lane:

The bike lane along southbound I-15 will be detoured between Centre City Parkway and Via Rancho Parkway through the end of 2008. Detour signs will be posted to alert motorists and bicyclists of the closure.

The contractor will place signs to assist motorists through the closures.
As always, weather (rain/fog etc.) plays a role in the implementation of planned traffic closures.
