Health Committee
The San Diego North Chamber of Commerce strives to deliver up-to-date, health related information to enhance the quality of life of Chamber members and the business community at large. The Health Committee serves as the Chambers front line to educate San Diego North businesses about health care issues specific to the region that impact bottom lines and workforce productivity.
The key initiative for the Health Committee is developing a Worksite Wellness Plan, which will be offered to all Chamber members. This plan will demonstrate all that employers can do to promote a healthier lifestyle for their employees with minimal (or no) investment. The Health Committee is also creating a system to publicly recognize those businesses who take steps to implement wellness measures at their workplace.
The Health Committee meets the 4th Tuesday of every month at the SDNCC Offices.
